Victim Witness Coordinator Program

The State of Illinois guarantees victims certain rights under the Illinois Crime Victims’ Bill of Rights.  The Jo Daviess County State’s Attorney Office is committed to providing these rights through the Victim Witness Coordinator Program.  Victims and witnesses are vital to the prosecution of criminal cases and many times are unfamiliar with the criminal justice system.  The Victim Witness Coordinator acts as a central contact person for victims and witnesses, providing them assistance and case information through out the criminal proceedings.

The Victim Witness Coordinator Program is a division of the Jo Daviess County State’s Attorney Office, and was created to help victims and witnesses with any questions that they might have about their court involvement.
