The purpose of the Jo Daviess Needs Assessment is to systematically review the priority health issues of the county every five years in order to identify and document current health issues based on the most current data available at the time that this study is undertaken.  The health issues identified by the Jo Daviess County Needs Assessment committee are then evaluated to determine the relevance and the impact that these health concerns have on the County as a whole.
